Helped me buy a home in Naples in 2011 and Bonita Springs in 2015.
We met Chris through a family friend in 2011 when we began our search for a vacation home in Bonita Springs. During this time it was an extremely daunting task to look at properties due to the hundreds of properties on the market in the down economy. Chris was able to drill down on our actual wants in a home which minimized the property search and, being in New Hampshire, he was our boots on the ground so to speak.
Once my wife finally arrived in Bonita to continue our search, Chris was able to schedule numerous showings on a range of properties every day for three days and never once showing impatience with the process. His knowledge of the area, communities, builders, fees etc. was invaluable, which allowed us to narrow it down to handful of properties in a few days.
Ultimately we made an offer on a property in Village Walk with Chris’s guidance on the current market conditions and value of the property. Our offer was accepted and we closed on the property a short time later. Fast forward to 2015 while in Bonita we toured a new golf community and made the decision it was time to upgrade. We touched base with Chris on listing our Village Walk home in anticipation of having a new home built in Bonita National. Chris inquired on our reason for selling and since we had already begun the negotiation process in Bonita National we did not believe Chris could represent us. Boy was I mistaken and glad I was. He was able to come aboard as buyers agent, assisted in negotiating the price and saved us $17,000.00!!
Building a new home 1600 miles from your primary residence can be extremely stressful, so I thought. Chris did all the heavy lifting, kept track of the construction, mountains of paperwork and literally was the heavy when needed with the builder. Building a new home always has bumps in the road and Chris smoothed them all over and gave me piece of mind. Once we had a completion date for our new home we listed our Village Walk home and Chris had us three offers in 5 days with the best $48,000.00 more!!!!! than our purchase price 4 years prior, all thanks to Chris’s advice in 2011.
